He told the doctor that his ear hurt when she walked in. This was the first I have heard of it even. He wasn't acting like it, obviously! She looked in there and his ear tube was lying in his canal, she said that can cause ear pain,so she asked if he would let her take it out and I said we could try. He sat there so brave and strong! She had a plyer like tool and a light and grabbed it out. His eyes were filled with tears but never let out a whimper. He still sat there so brave. She asked him if he would like to see the tube. He nodded yes. He looked at it and got the biggest smile on his face, like he accomplished the job, he did it!!! She asked him if it felt better and he nodded yes! He is such a funny kid. He bravely wiped away the water from his eyes with his shirt sleeve and had a big smile on his face again. Never did he actually cry or even move during the whole thing, he sat so still and never pulled away even. What a trooper! He also passed his hearing screening so he won't have a follow up for six months now! Now we have something to be silly about!
