Our newest family member!

It's a boy,

LOL, no I am NOT pregnant, so get your mind out of that thought now!

We have guardianship over Bryce's best friend Dakota. He is 16 now and comes from a difficult home. He spent most of his summer spending the night here anyway and it worked out that going home just wasn't going to be an option with his home situation and he became "homeless" for the most part so we took him in. He really is a good kid and I think he will be a good influence on Bryce and the others and vice versa with our household for him.

I am excited to already see changes in him and his demeanor. He seems happier and opening up more. His dad had custody and no bio mom in the picture, just a step mom (kind of). So I am trying to fill the motherly shoes.

We are starting with a clean slate now and being a junior in high school things are going to start over and hope he can do very well this year and keep a happy home life and lead a great school life also!

So yes, another boy to our household we are very happy to have Dakota live with us and he fits in just fine!
